Seems like the scholarship offers just keep rolling in for Hillsborough junior defensive end Jordan Sherit.
Coming off a break-out season for the Terriers, Sherit picked up his ninth Division I offer and his first from the Big East Conference on Thursday with a pitch from the University of Cincinnati, Hillsborough coach Earl Garcia announced.
Cincinnati joins the University of Central Florida, South Carolina, Auburn, Purdue, Duke, Miami, Vanderbilt and the University of South Florida who have made the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Sherit offers.
Sherit, an honors student who is enrolled in Hillsborough’s International Baccalaureate program, this season recorded team-highs in tackles (110) and sacks (9), both of which were among the top numbers in the area.
