Another milestone for Damon: 140 games for 16 straight years

BOSTON Johnny Damon is playing in his 140th game of the season today.
This is the 16th consecutive season in which Damon has played in at least 140 games, which places him in a very exclusive club that includes Hank Aaron, Brooks Robinson, Pete Rose and Damon.
And no one else.
Cal Ripken Jr., is not a member of that club, thanks to the strike in 1994 which ended the season after 112 games.
