Alonso defensive end Anthony Chickillo plans to make his college announcement next month.

Chickillo, who was recently selected to play in the Under Armour All-American Game, will announce his decision on ESPN. Owning nearly 50 Division I offers, Chickillo has spent the bulk of his summer visiting several campuses and has narrowed the list.
The seven schools Chickillo says are recruiting him the hardest are Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Tennessee and USF.
“I feel like these schools really, really want me,” Chickillo said. “This [process] is an everyday thing, and it’s time consuming, so I’m looking forward to getting it over with.”
One other decision Chickillo hasn’t made is whether he will graduate early so he can enroll at his college choice in time for spring workouts. He’s still debating the merits of leaving high school early.
