Alonso defensive lineman Anthony Chickillo and Plant quarterback Phillip Ely have been selected to join an elite group.

The juniors have been chosen to participate in the U.S. Army National Combine, which is part of the week-long festivities that lead up to the Jan. 9 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game in San Antonio.
The three day event, which takes place Jan. 7-9, is modeled after the NFL combine with tests and drills, will feature some of the top underclassmen in the country.
Past combine participants include Miami Dolphins Ted Ginn, Jr., Florida Gator quarterback Tim Tebow and Detroit Lions quarterback Matt Stafford.
Chickillo has generated a lot of Division I interest and has offers from Miami and Florida International. He missed six week of football this season after breaking his collarbone in the first game against Brandon. He returned to action three weeks ago against Plant.
Ely also missed playing time this season with a lower back stress fracture. He returned in Week Four against Riverview. He has an offer from Florida International.
