Alonso opened its regular season with an impressive victory against Brandon, but it came at a cost.

Starting defensive end Anthony Chickillo suffered a broken collar bone in the third quarter of the Ravens 39-7 victory. He is expected to miss at least six weeks. Chickillo, who had collected four sacks in three quarters of action, was injured making a tackle.

The junior defensive lineman is one of the top players for the Ravens who has caught the attention of several Division I college programs. He has offers from Miami and Florida International University.
