Add another national ranking for the Alonso and Jesuit baseball programs.
Both appeared in the initial RivalsHigh 100, which was released Tuesday. The Ravens are at No. 4, while the Tigers are at No. 14.
Both programs also appeared in the Perfect Game Cross Checker Preseason Top 100, the MaxPreps Xcellent Preseason Top 25 and the ESPN RISE Preseason Fab 50. Alonso also appeared in the NHSCA/Baseball America Preseason Top 50 and the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Easton Sports Preseason National Poll.
Alonso’s highest preseason national ranking has been No. 1 (MaxPreps) and Jesuit’s has been No. 5 (Perfect Game, ESPN).
However, the Ravens dropped to 16th in the latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25, which was released Monday. Meanwhile, Jesuit, which was No. 18 in the MaxPreps preaseason poll, fell out of the Top 25 rankings this week.
