AATL’s Grossenbach joins 1,000-point club

LAND O’ LAKES – Academy at the Lakes senior guard Matt Grossenbach scored his 1,000th point Tuesday against Cambridge Christian. Grossenbach, who has accepted an offer to play college basketball at Colby College (NCAA Division III) in Waterville, Maine, has 1,007 points.

Also, Becca Berry has accepted an offer to play college volleyball at Agnes Scott College (NCAA Division III) in Decatur, Ga. Berry was a member of the Wildcats volleyball team that recently was selected to the Florid High School Athletic Association’s fall Academic Team Champion Awards Class 1A team with a combined 3.176 GPA.

Academy at the Lakes’ boys golf team also was on the Class 1A FHSAA fall academic team with a 3.324 GPA.
