A tough team to make in 2011: Tribune All-Hillsborough County football team

Considering the county produced two state champions (Armwood and Plant) and a state semifinalist (Berkeley Prep) this fall, there was plenty of talent in Hillsborough this year. And little wonder that earning a spot on the Tampa Tribune’s all-Hillsborough County football team was a tall order in 2011.

That said, we went to a lot of trouble looking deep into the rosters and statistics of other county squads. We also took into account the all-Western Conference squads selected by the coaches, as well as the feedback of several veteran coaches in the area.
