There’s a lot going on today to keep me busy. I’ll try to get back to the blog later this afternoon after meeting with USF offensive coordinator Todd Fitch and defensive coordinator Mark Snyder.
Also, the USF-UConn game Saturday at the Sun Dome is a big one for the Bulls. I’ll have more on that later.
For now, here are a few notes/links in case you missed any of our coverage of USF today in The Tampa Tribune or on TBO.com:
—If you want to hear what former USF defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has to say about the NFL draft, check out ESPN2 at 10 a.m. He’ll be on for a live interview.
—The Joel Miller-Jim Leavitt saga took another step forward Thursday. Click here to read about Miller opting not to pursue any legal action against Leavitt.
—The USF women’s basketball team faces Cincinnati tonight in the first round of the Big East Tournament in Hartford, Conn. With only eight players on the active roster, Bulls coach Jose Fernandez is glad Allyson Speed made it back from a midseason knee injury. Click here to read about Speed’s unlikely role going into the tournament.
—Former USF walk-on Nick Schuyler shared his story with Oprah Winfrey yesterday. The lone survivor of a boating accident that cost three of his friends their lives opened up to Oprah yesterday, drawing a lot of reaction from readers. Click here to read more about Schuyler’s story.
