I like the design and colors, I would change the “BOLTS” for the Lightning logo or just “LIGHTNING”.

I like having some color. Anything is better than black and white. I would have preferred the logo on the shoulder of the home/away jerseys on the front or “Lightning”. Bolts is a common nickname, but couldn’t they have been more creative?

They look good. The blue is cool. Have to agree needs a Lightning Bolt or logo instead of the word Bolts, though. However if the team plays like it did yesterday when it wore them; then Keep Them in the Closet!!

The blue looked great against the white of the ice. I won’t be buying one though - I already own a home jersey from a couple of years back and I can only wear one at a time!  I do wonder whether they will sell enough to cover the manufacturing costs, particularly given the lack of fans at games this season.

Honestly, I love them! Not crazy about the use of the nickname “Bolts”, I would much rather it say “Lightning” but hey, they are still sharp there is no denying that. :D

I’m not a fan of the “Bolts” and “Bolts” is not short for Lightning in any way - like “Bucs” is short for Buccaneers . . . The color scheme is nice, but is any one going to know what team is on the ice when they wear those things??  Of course, if you look at our regular jerseys they don’t say “Lightning” either.  A true case of mistaken identity.

THEY LOOK GOOD! Too many people too picky about the name. The name, “BOLTS,” has been used in print and by fans.
“LIGHTNING BOLTS!” Even I, “W,” gets that one!!!!!!

Like everything else these days, new-age manufacturers screw everything up. The color itself is fine, but what is with that stupid little thin white stripe underneath the arms? See, stuff like that is exactly the kind of crap the Reebok’s and Nike’s of the world just can’t help themselves with. It’s like they have to justify a new design with something stupid yet trademark. Solid blue would look good.

Having it say “Bolts” is ridiculous. Only an official team name (Tampa Bay or Lightning) should be on a uniform, not a slang nickname.

A nice shiny paint job on a Yugo. I would purchase one of these if all the proceeds went to obtaining the services of a #1, #2 or #3 defenseman.
As for the “Bolts” It’s cute but are we now going to see “Habs” Sens” Pens”“Hawks”“Preds” and “Cats”?

Actually, yeah Marc Haze the Senators 3rd jersey supposedly has “Sens” across the front.

I like the new jersey. Most franchises are either using an older/alternate logo or just changing the color schemes. Being a young franchise, using the old logo isn’t an option and there is no alternate logo to speak of (worth using as a crest). This color scheme with the current logo would have been fine, but everybody familiar with the team knows they’re often called the “Bolts.” I think I’m gonna pick one up, if for nothing else than the color scheme.

New Jersey is awesome- It is cool it says Bolts, after all it is an “alternate” jersey. Love it. Way better than the black ones.
