Hey folks, good morning. Hope you plan to spend at least part of your day like I am—watching March Madness.
Speaking of hoops, you probably heard by now that USF’s Dominique Jones is considering leaving school to enter the NBA draft. Jones won’t make a final decision until he speaks with numerous NBA types about his true draft status.
He addressed the situation yesterday by releasing a statement through USF’s sports information office—after posting a comment on his Facebook page that hinted he was done running with the Bulls.
Regardless of his final decision, Tampa Tribune columnist Joe Henderson writes about Jones how a Facebook post can turn into a mainstream media story within a minutes. Needless to say, times have changed, but it’s the world we live in.
