Black Swan Racing is officially in the 12 Hours of Sebring, bringing the number of LMP2 entires on the ALMS side to four. Black Swan is driving a Lola purchased from Level 5 Motorsports. The team made it on the track about 3 p.m. in the afternoon session.
The Audi Sport Team Joest R18s were impressive all day, as the team went 1-2-3 in both testing sessions.

Although not on the American Le Mans Series entry list as of March 6 for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, Black Swan Racing has set up shop at Sebring International Raceway. Speculation is the team will be a late entry into the LMP2 class, but nothing can be confirmed at this point. Will update as we know more.

In a stunner, Team Oreca Matmut won the 12 Hours of Sebring in its Peugeot 908 HDi-FAP. Complete details will be in Sunday’s Highlands Today sports section.

Team Oreca Malmut is still in front heading into the final 10 minutes of the 12 Hours of Sebring. Patron Highcroft’s Honda is sitting in second, followed by the No. 8 Peugeot.

A huge upset may be in the making, as Team Oreca Malmut leads the 12 Hours of Sebring heading into the final 60 minutes. Patron Highcroft Racing’s Honda is in second place, one minute behind, although Highcroft may be able to make just one more pit stop, while Malmut will likely need two,

Team Oreca Matmut still holds the lead at the 12 Hours of Sebring with just over two hours remaining in the race. The No. 8 Peugeot was the leader but was forced to take a pit stop to replace broken front louvres. Pedro Lamy replaced Stephane Sarrazin behind the wheel and drove off course on Turn 13, the result of cold tires.

Loic Duval and the No. 10 Oreca Matmut hold a 13-second lead over the Patron Highcroft Racing Honda ARX-01a.
The No. 62 Risi Competizione leads the GT class by 29 seconds, while Genoa Racing is leading the LMPC class.

The No. 8 Peugeot car is in the lead a bit past the halfway point of the 12 Hours of Sebring. The factory Peugeot has led much of the race, but did yield the lead to the No. 1 car from Highcroft Racing for a bit.
It’s been a rough day for the factory Audi cars, as they are currently running seventh and eighth in the LMP1 class.
Genoa Racing has a three-lap lead in the LMPC class, while Level 5 Motorsports has 11-lap lead in the LMP2 class.

The Extreme Speed Motorsports No. 1 Ferrari 458 has been knocked out of the race. The car, driven by Johannes van Overbeek, is being towed off the track. The yellow flag is out.
Robertson Racing’s 004 car has been handed a four-minute penalty.
