Mr. Otto, I am a volunteer with a great nonprofit organization I believe will benefit from your support with an article. Cheryl Ayres mentioned this cause to you and I would appreciate a few moments of your time to discuss this cause. Aging Solutions is the Office of Public Guardian for Hills., Pasco, and Pinellas counties. Funding has been severely cut and we are planning a fundraising event in Ybor City on April 19th. This organization provides guardianship to many frail elderly/disabled adults. They also have a waiting list for services in the 100’s. This a disservice to these citizens and its costing all of us a lot of money.
Feel free to contact me via cell at 813-494-5007.
Sincerely,
Mike Coffey

Steve,
I have a suggestion for improving the downtown, which will enhance the riverside walk and new History Museum. Everytime I drive past Ashley and Brorein, at the bridge I view with disgust the unsightly mess on the northwest corner. It appears that we’ll have to put up with this for at lease a year, therefore, why don’t we move the “exploding chicken” sculpture that is in front of the beer can building and place it at the Trump Dump.
Hope all is well with you and you make time for some good tennis.
Pete Knight

I saw in paper that Amtrak use
is becoming more popular here in
Florida. The gasoline crunch is
causing a lot of changes. I just
wondered if Steve Otto had opinions on this and what he thought of pros or cons involving trains.
Thanks,
Winterblue
