Pam Hinds of Seminole is not a huge fan of the push button voting machines.
“The touch screen program should have more complete software,” she writes to Election Central.
She says she voted this morning at Faith Presbyterian in Seminole.
Here is her story, in her words:
As I was finishing up my voting, and came to the REVIEW button . . I remembered I needed to change something on one of my votes. I clicked on REVIEW and went back to one of the amendments to change it. I changed the amendment and then clicked on NEXT and then NEXT and finally got to my last screen which showed all the votes summarized and then I clicked NEXT and it went back to REVIEW. I thought it would send me to the Cast My Ballot screen. After calling over the polling person to help me, I found out that she knew very little about the problem I was having. I was not getting to the Cast My Ballot screen. After a few BACKS and NEXT’s, I finally got to the Cast My Ballot screen. Instead of me having to go through all that, I should have been able to Cast My Ballot immediately after REVIEWING and clicking on NEXT instead of having to go back and forth after I reviewed.
