Despite a few sporadic thunderstorms in the past month, water levels remain critically low prompting Tampa Bay Water to declare a Level III Water Supply Crisis. Local rivers are flowing well below normal which has led the regional reservoir to drop to less than 25% capacity.
"The localized rain that some neighborhoods have seen lately did lower demand but did not increase the available supply," explains Dave Bracciano, demand management coordinator for Tampa Bay Water.

I believe we have had a water issue for sometime now, but yet the developers somehow are still allowed to build and build and build. Where do they expect to get the water for all of these new buildings/houses? The area is clearly over developed AND certainly over populated, but I guess that is a topic for another day. When is enough enough?
