TAMPA - Police are looking for a masked man on a bicycle who robbed a Walgreens drugstore about 2:15 a.m. Thursday.
According to a preliminary Tampa police report, a man wearing a black ski mask, black pants and a blue hooded jacket parked a mountain bike in the automatic doors of the Walgreens at 1860 E. Fowler Ave., so they would not close. He produced a knife and said, “Give me the money.”
The clerk complied, and the man escaped with an unspecified amount of cash, heading west on the bicycle, police said.
Police said the man is white or Hispanic, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with an average build, possibly in his 20s or 30s. Police asked anyone with information about the robbery to call (813) 231-6130.
