TAMPA - A store manager accused of selling two pornographic magazines to a minor was charged with a felony Sunday afternoon.
Ranjith Chellipan Pillay, 40, of Tampa, was charged with the sale of harmful books to a minor, a third-degree felony. He was released from jail after posting $2,000 bail, jail records show.
He is accused of selling the magazines about 9:30 a.m. at Pars Food & Deli, 2124 S. 78TH St. The age of the minor or the name of the magazines were not included in Pillay’s arrest affidavit.
