TAMPA - Police arrested 15 people and more than 250 spectators were treated by paramedics at an all-day festival Sunday, officials said.
About 16,000 people attended 98 RockFest at Raymond James Stadium. Those arrested were charged mostly with misdemeanor drug possession. Another 38 people were ejected for drug possession, fighting or other violations, police said.
Paramedics treated hundreds of people for heat exhaustion, dehydration, intoxication or a combination, Tampa Fire Rescue said. Five people were hospitalized.
Concertgoers told News Channel 8 people were re-selling their $3 bottles for $10.
