Auburndale police Department officers are on scene of a shooting involving a police officer.
The shooting occurred at 103 Rebecca Lane in Auburndale. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is involved in the investigation.
The injured suspect has been taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center. The extent of his injuries is not known.
The cause of the shooting is not known and the identity of the suspect or the officer has not been released.
