Bill Cobb of Seminole has nothing but nice words for his voting experience. So happy is he that he just had to write to his friends at Election Central.
Here are his words:
It is not often that I am compelled to write to anyone, about anything, but this days voting experience has me so excited, I must make an exception.
My wife and I voted this morning at the 274th Precinct, Starkey Road Baptist Church. We arrived around 8:30am to find absolutely no lines and extemely friendly and helpful poll workers. They remembered us and called us by name on entering (Must be from voting every election...) The machines worked flawlessly. Leaving, we were not pestered by exit pollers, for once.
Overall, the most pleasant voting experience I have ever had in 30 years.
I have to admit, after watching all the hype on the expected problems, I was apprehensive about going this time. I was happily proved wrong in my worries.
To who ever is responsible for this pleasant experience: Kudos to you. Thank you for your hard work and time. I know that there will be some problems elsewhere; it’s inevitable. But I thought it important enough to let someone know that it actually worked, and worked well today, for some.
