MOON LAKE ESTATES – Firefighters are investigating a suspicious fire in unincorporated Pasco County.
They arrived at 10046 Poplar Street at 7:28 p.m. Wednesday and found a double wide mobile home in flames. A brush fire had also started.
Investigators said the mobile home was unoccupied and was in the process of being demolished.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to get the fires under control, according to a press release.
One firefighter was slightly injured when he fell and landed on a nail. No other injuries were reported.
Chief Mike Ciccarello said it looks like the fires were intentionally started. The investigation continues today.
