TAMPA - A federal jury has reached a verdict this morning in the case of whether a man who worked at the Blue Martini nightclub is criminally responsible for another man’s fatal drug overdose.
They found Brandon Erwin guilty on all counts.
Erwin, 30, stood trial on drug distribution charges and a charge that he is criminally responsible for the November 2005 overdose death of Andrew Culver, a 35-year-old businessman.

Authorities say Erwin arranged cocaine and ecstasy sales in the swanky nightclub at International Plaza while working there part-time as a host. Prosecutors said he sold cocaine and methadone to Culver repeatedly on Nov. 23, 2005. Culver was found dead at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel, walking distance from the bar, six days later.
