KEY WEST - A Key West hotel remains closed following the death of a Michigan guest.
26-year-old Thomas Lueders and his father, Richard Lueders, were found unresponsive in their fourth floor room at the Doubletree Grand Key Resort about noon Wednesday.
Both men were taken to hospitals where the son was pronounced dead. The father has been released from the hospital.
Three hotel employees also had to be treated at a hospital.
Guests have been relocated to other hotels.
A spokeswoman for the hotel says in-house air quality monitors and the local fire department haven’t been able to determine the problem.
Various state agencies are investigating.
