MADEIRA BEACH – A gas leak has shut down part of Gulf Boulevard in Madeira Beach, according to a press release from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Pinellas County deputies and firefighters are on the scene. At 3:15 p.m., they closed Gulf Boulevard in both directions between 137th Avenue Circle and Boca Ciega Avenue. Neither vehicles nor pedestrians are allowed on the road.
There’s no word on what caused the gas leak or when it will be fixed.
