OCALA - A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy was fired after being charged with groping a 14-year-old girl he arrested.
Authorities say Deputy Gabriel Pizzini coerced the girl to undress while he took a photograph of her in the back seat of his squad car.
The 40-year-old deputy arrested the girl at her Silver Springs Shores home Monday after she refused to go to school.
Pizzini reportedly denied the girl’s allegations, but changed his story after investigators retrieved the picture he had taken of the girl.
He was charged with promoting sexual performance by a child, lewd and lascivious conduct, possession of child pornography and attempted evidence tampering.
He was released from Marion County jail last night on a $19,000 bond.

Nice to hear that these allegations were followed up and that action was taken when the truth was revealed.
