Deputies arrested a man who apparently robbed a bank in Seffner and then sat and waited inside the bank.
According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies, the suspect entered the Bank of America located at 816 Dr. King Blvd. West in Seffner this morning and demanded money from a teller.
The suspect was armed with a gun and a knife, according to a press release.
After the teller gave the suspected robber the money, he walked over to a bank employee and told her he had just robbed the bank. He then sat down, according to deputies.
A customer later walked out of the bank and alerted two deputies outside the bank about the incident. The deputies entered the bank and arrested the suspect.
The robbery is under investigation.
