Tampa
The reporters and photographers from all over the state have invaded the ballroom at the Grand Hyatt in Tampa. Cables and cords are all over the place. The bad weather has already started interfering with some live shots.
This ballroom is a major upgrade from Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Jim Davis’ primary night party. It’s about three times the space and the food spread looks much more appetizing than the last go-around.
The Davis campaign folks look pretty calm.
Right now they’re hanging banners and getting the stage ready.
I’ll be surprised if Jim Davis has a voice when he gets here. He barely had one yesterday. He’s expected to arrive at around 7pm.
