MIAMI - A Florida company is suing comedian ‘Gallagher’ for breach of contract.
Branson Partners LLC, of Miami, brought Leo Gallagher to the southwest Missouri town of Branson for summer performances.
But his shows were canceled after a July 22nd performance in which he allegedly bruised a theater employee as he pushed her back into her seat. The worker filed a complaint with the police, but it was dropped after she settled with Gallagher for an undisclosed sum.
Branson Partners says Gallagher agreed in writing not to use foul language or engage in physical altercations during his performances.
Gallagher’s attorney is seeking to dismiss the lawsuit because it was filed in a Missouri court, but Branson Partners isn’t a Missouri company.
The defense lawyer says the Branson theater was presented as a good location for Gallagher, but it wasn’t.
Ohh..I thought it was Tom Gallager that was being sued over his inability to regulate insurance properly....Sorry
but I guess that is no laughing matter.

I have seen Gallagher’s show in person, and I think he is one of the funnier ones around.
Branson is a tourist town, but it may not be the best place for Gallagher’s humor.

He should have hit her with the Sledge-O-Matic. That would have fixed her..
So a company hires Leo Gallagher to perform at its Branson,Mo. theaters and has a requirement that he not use profanity or engage in physical contact. I wonder if these folks have ever seen one of Gallaghers shows? Personally I think he is one of the funnier entertainers around and if he uses profanity on occasion it does not seem as bad as some of the trash around today. I realize Branson is the haven for senior set so why book someone like Gallagher into those theaters when his humor is lost on them anyway.

Branson, MO? So does he open for Glen Campbell now?! Gallagher is all washed-up, and I don’t care how many tickets he still sells touring. Its his same ol’ same ol’every time, yet some folks with, uh, less-stellar-senses of humor keep showing up to see his “show”. He also decided that the stage is now his personal political arena...just shut up and crush fruit and try to stick to the basics. Based on this story you obviously have some issues, and I’m definitely NOT proud to be your H.B. Plant High School alumni. Go Panthers!!!
