Common Cause is taking complaints from voters around the nation. Here’s a sampling of what some local voters are telling them.

This is a transcript from a Tampa call to the hotline, according to Common Cause.
“You push a button and the check mark would bounce around on the screen. You’d have to go through it several times to make sure you got the proper vote. Tampa. (left phone number)”
Here’s one from Pinellas County:
“First machine I tried failed to work in middle of his voting. Second machine also had problems. Does not seem that poll workers were not reporting problems with machines. Believe he ultimately cast his vote, but is unsure. “
Here are some other calls Common Cause has received on MyVote1 in florida:
FL voter used motor voter to register as Democrat in Brevard County. But he was never registered. Motor Vehicles dept. said I had told them I was ineligible to vote in FL. “No one knows anything, no one has any answers, no one could produce any records, and they all say, ‘Golly, we’re so sorry.”
