LAKELAND – Police are searching for a woman who claimed she had a bomb when she robbed a Wachovia Bank at 4405 S. Florida Avenue on Wednesday.
Investigators released this surveillance photo today. The woman is between 5’6’” – 5’8”, 150 pounds and was wearing a short curly wig and a maroon shirt.
The robber handed the teller a note indicating she had a bomb, and then took off with the money in a 4-door maroon Nissan or Honda sedan, according to a news release.
