Today, officials in Lakeland released a 911 tape that details the moments after an Amtrak train slammed into a car.

Four people were killed on July 16 when investigators say the driver of the car ignored the crossing gates and drove into the path of the train.

Here’s an excerpt from the tape:

911: What kind of car is it? Just tell me…

Caller: You can’t tell ma’am. I mean, I watched that thing fly through the air. I mean, my God.

911: So it’s on the tracks?

Caller: I just heard the train go by first and I seen the car flying in the air. Oh my God.”

Three women and one man died in the car.

No one was injured on the Amtrak train.
