TAMPA - One person was killed in a two-car crash on the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway about 4:50 p.m. Friday, forcing closure of the eastbound lanes until about 10 p.m.
Tracey Schubert, 27, was killed when her car hit a guardrail and then struck a Hyundai Santa Fe sport utility vehicle in the next lane.
Schubert, of 1503 W. Hamilton Ave., died at the scene. Hyundai driver Angela Turney, 38, of 4715 Newbourne Way, Valrico, was not seriously injured, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Tracey Schubert is my best friend’s only daughter. He is concerned about the cause of this accident. What channels can I take to help him resolve the cause of the accident which is hampering closure for him in this death of his only daughter who he was very close to.
