If you are going to vote at Precinct 149 in New Port Richey, you better bring a book. Bring a big one, like War and Peace. According to one voter, the lines there are epic.

Or any happy stories of helpful volunteers, quickly moving lines or any other bright spots on this otherwise dull gray day?
Let us know.

While Common Cause is receiving phone calls, the legal eagles over at the U.S. Attorneys Office say that, so far, they have detected no election fraud. Three cheers for democracy in action!
Not only is Election Day good for democracy, but it’s great for one New Tampa neighborhood, where residents get together on polling day.

Former U.S. Representative Mark Foley may not be running for Congress anymore, but his name is still on the ballot today as voters picked a successor for the disgraced Republican lawmaker.
What do you expect? This is Florida, after all.
Common Cause is on the case. The watchdog group is monitoring election problems around the country. Here’s what the group is finding locally, statewide and around this great nation.
We gave you Pinellas polling places. Now here’s the list of Hillsborough County voting locations, straight out of County Supervisor of Elections Buddy Johnson’s web site. Just another helpful service from your good friends here at Election Central.
Fine, so the Pinellas County election web site is back up. But just in case you have a problem and want to know where to vote, check this out dear voter.
