Gov. Charlie Crist’s latest campaign outreach gambit—sign up to follow his campaign on line, and you may win a call from Crist himself.

The campaign has sent out an email urging supporters to follow Crist’s campaign on Facebook, Twitter, via text message and email. The 44th person to sign up will receive a thank you call from the Governor (he’s the 44th governor of Florida).

“The Crist campaign continues to gain momentum,” says the email, even though his opponent, Marco Rubio, has moved from nowhere six months ago to tying or leading Crist in most polls.
