Why Is It So Cold??!!!

That may seem like a crazy title for the middle of summer in Tampa Bay, but I find myself shivering more often than sweating!  First of all, we keep it like a meat locker in the weather office and newsroom.  But I find that it’s also very cold in local restaurants.  I actually sit outside for dinner whenever possible. Not to mention, you are coming in from 90+ degrees outside and running into the cold blast right at the door.  Well, NBC did a story on this phenomenon!  Watch the story below...it shows that we are less productive when we are cold.  (This blog is especially for Chief Meteorologist Steve Jerve who is the ONLY one comfortable in the weather center!!! grin)

Are you cold in your office?  Leave me a comment and vent your frustrations!

I find it very comfortable.  We’ll be flooding the floor next week for an ice rink and we can play hockey!
