People line Dale Mabry and Columbus to rally for immigration reform. PAUL LAMISON/News Channel 8
The point of the legislature is being overlooked. It’s not anti-Immigration, without immigration there would be no United States. (Let’s face it, except for Native Americans, we’re ALL immigrants.) The point of the legislation and the frustration is the ILLEGAL immigration. What we want is for people to immigrate to this country LEGALLY.
If you love America so much, then become a LEGAL citizen and wave the flag of the United States and learn to speak english. If not, then go back to Mexico and make things better there.
THOSE ILLEGALS AND THE REST OF THE PROTESTERS DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE LATIN COMMUNITY, I AM A HISPANIC MAN OF PUERTO RICAN HERITAGE AND PROUD. MY GRANDPARENTS WORKED IN CIGAR FACTORIES ALL THEIR LIVES, BUT THEY DID IT LEGALLY!.. YOU LOVE YOUR FLAG SO MUCH, FLY IT IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY!

Stop and ask yourselves WHY they are illegal and educate yourself as to WHAT they could do to BE legal. (Essentially, they can’t)That’s what this is really all about. There is no question that they would be legal if they could. This is about the money they’ve never had and the money that businesses make off of them by keeping them illegal. Outside of legal immigrants who come to the U.S. on lottery visas, take a guess how many others from a poor background come to the U.S. legally. My guess is didn’t even know there was a visa lottery.
