Today’s number, four: An intersection of golf and signage

Fore and Oregon sign

This fore is spelled a little differently because it’s next to a golf course, but it gives us a chance to point out two databases you’ll find at our Fact Finder page.

The first shows how much water is used by golf courses in each of Florida’s counties. The wide variety of volumes in these times of drought may surprise you. You can also check out the dry-season story we wrote on the topic.

The second database highlights wacky street names in Hillsborough County. And Russ Cardwell wrote a Top Notch story (that’s one of the street names) exploring the subject further.
