A poll done for Ron Sachs public relations firm in Tallahassee shows Gov. Charlie Crist with a commanding lead in the Republican U.S. Senate primary against Marco Rubio.
The poll, done by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research for the Sachs firm, showed Crist with 53 percent, Rubio with 18 percent and undecided 29 percent.
In the governor’s race, Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum led Democratic Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink by 40 percent to 34 percent, with 25 percent undecided.
The poll included telephone interviews with 625 Florida voters, for an error margin of 4 points. The error margin for the Crist-Rubio question, which included 300 Republican voters, is 6 points.

Ron Sachs, head of the firm, is a former Lawton Chiles adminstration official. His public affairs consulting firm does work for causes and companies of various political intersts.
