Republican Tommy C. Castellano will launch his campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives at an evening reception tonight.
Castellano is one of six candidates in the Aug. 24 Republican primary vying to face House District 11 incumbent Kathy Castor in the general election.
Castellano’s kickoff party is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 at Rigatoni’s Tuscan Oven restaurant, 3437 W. Kennedy Blvd.
“Basically it will be a meet and greet and I’ll give s statement of what I plan to do,” Castellano said.
This is the first bid for public office by the 59-year-old owner of Castellano Air Conditioning and Heating, Tampa.
