Remembering Tim Russert
Many of you may have heard of the unexpected passing of NBC’s Meet The Press Moderator Tim Russert. I just wanted to say how much I admired this man. There are more times that I can count when I would smile at the TV when he’d asked a tough question and say ”Man, he’s good!” The outpouring of support and admiration for Tim proves that he is bigger than a journalist...he was EVERYMAN. He talked to us like he knew us, and we felt that he did. That is a talent that few people have.
He loved his family and often honored his father. Many of us not only read his book, Big Russ and Me, but we gave it to our fathers as well. So, on this Father’s Day Weekend, we honor Tim and his family.
