A group of homeowners angry about soaring property insurance rates didn’t want to let the special legislative session start without letting their opinion be known.
Members of Having Affordable Coverage will board a bus at 7 a.m. Tuesday in Pasco County to begin a daylong trip to rally on the steps of the state Capitol. The group is demanding lower homeowner insurance rates as lawmakers begin their special session to address the state’s insurance crisis.
Join Tribune reporter Baird Helgeson as he travels with the group and writes a blog chronicling their adventure.
