What makes Pasco great for me is the existence of a large number of social and community service organizations, which provide invaluable assistance to countless Pasco residents in dire need.
These include church-affiliated charities, such as the St. Vincent de Paul Society;, ethnic associations, such as the several lodges of the Sons of Italy; numerous veterans groups - the Marine Corps League for one; various civic and fraternal societies, hobbyists and enthusiasts of most any ilk or persuasion, etc.
Disparate though they may seem, they all have one characteristic in common: Their members are caring individuals who give tirelessly of their valuable time to help those less fortunate in our county, regardless of age, gender, religion, or race.
Thanks to all who serve in these ways to help make Pasco great!
