Alaska television station KTUU catches up with Gov. Sarah Palin at a turkey farm, where she has gone to grant the traditional pardon to one of the birds that would otherwise be destined for someone’s dinner table this Thanksgiving. The first two-thirds of the video features Palin and a farmer selecting one of the biggest turkeys from the herd. Then, while Palin is answering reporters’ questions, the camera pans over to a guy holding a freshly slaughtered, plucked turkey over some kind of blood funnel. Ick!
Now we really know how the turkey sausage gets made…
