CITRUS PARK - The growing crowds at Westfield Citrus Park were getting to one young lady Friday afternoon.
The girl, carrying a shoebox in her hand, threatened bodily harm if anyone happened to get in her way.
As she zigzagged through the walking traffic, her friend laughed as she ran to catch up.

I think the holiday spirit is lost in what Black Friday has become. I chose to let the frustration of my morning subside before writing in.
My experience at the STAPLES on North Dale Mabry was the worst I’ve had and the most offensive part was that the culprit was no less than the regional manager, Lewis Clark, who was incompetent and had more of Scrooge in him that Dickens’s himself, could have written.
Hours of waiting in line, being treated like cattle and the worst part is that if the internet-based companies would just offer better savings starting at midnight, we could avoid the lines, darkness, irritation and Lewis’ of the world and shop at home in our jammies.
