Barack Obama will make campaign stop in St. Petersburg Friday, but details on where and when aren’t yet available, local backer Frank Sanchez just confirmed.
Some campaign insiders have said Obama was looking for a large, rally-style venue, suggesting he might make an appearance open to the public, but Sanchez said he didn’t know whether that was true. In any case, it’s not just a fundraiser, said Sanchez, one of Obama’s top Florida fundraisers.
The appearance will be the day before Obama speaks to the national Urban League convention in Orlando Saturday.
We’ll update when we can.
