As the crowd in Tampa waits for Barack Obama to make his appearance, both his campaign and Hillary Clinton’s have announced April fundraising numbers.
Hillary Clinton has announced raising $22 million in April; Obama has announced raising $31.3 million, and says he has continued his ability to tap large numbers of small donors—93 percent of the contributions were under $100.
The total, Clinton says, is in addition to her loan of $5 million to the campaign.
The campaign remains in debt to Clinton by more than $11 million, however.
