For workers in downtown Tampa, it’s hard to find a polling place to sneak off to during the lunch hour. The Hillsborough County Center was a popular place during early voting, but it’s not even an option for voters during today’s primary voting.
Karen Sanchez has lunch in the
County Center downtown. She plans to cast her
vote in the primary election after work today.

Some people, like Karen Sanchez, who works at the downtown courthouse, will have to wait until after work to head out to vote. That increases the temptation to not go to the polls, Sanchez says, but she still plans to vote this evening.
“That way I have a right to complain,” she says.
