What’s it like to live next door to the “Extreme Makeover” site?
In the words of 22-year-old Chris Webb “It’s awesome.”
Webb and two roommates moved in next to the Tates two days after the plane hit their house. Crews from “Extreme Makeover” stopped by weeks ago to let them know the Tates had been chosen for the show, Webb says.
Webb and his roommates have turned their driveway into a 24-hour party zone, complete with chairs and coolers where crew members have been coming to relax.
Even the mayor heard about the partying, Webb says, and stopped by to chat.
Webb says he and his friends will be in their driveway Sunday when the Tates come home. He plans to make friends with his neighbors soon.
“I’ll probably be knocking on their door a few times,” he says.
