New local politics site launches

The creator of Saint Petersblog announced today he is building on his success in publicizing local political developments by launching a new site, Battleground Tampa Bay.
Little Saint Petersblog had already gained readers far and wide, and Peter Schorsch’s new effort is poised to make an even bigger splash. It’s much more comprehensive and sophisticated, going beyond the humble blog format to include Web-savvy tools, such as a tag cloud, and some creative graphics. That’s in addition to breaking news about politics, from local races up to the Tampa Bay area’s representatives on Capitol Hill.
I plan to drop by often as the election season heats up.
