5 p.m.
The lights are going up at the “Extreme Makeover” house, which means it’s time for us to close up shop.
Over the past eight hours, we’ve seen a lot happen out here. The crowd has changed from neighbors walking their dogs to professionals on their lunch break to teenagers stopping by after school. Now, families are coming back after finishing work.
The house has also come along. The roof is nearly complete, a fresh coat of white paint is on the outside and boxes of appliances have been delivered.
While we’re winding down, work on the house will go on all night. And if you’re interested, the next door neighbors say they’re hosting a party at 8 p.m.
Stay tuned to this blog throughout the weekend to find out what happens when the Tate family comes home.
